At Benchmark, we are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team and build, enhance, and maintain custom eCommerce platforms, business applications, and system integrations for businesses across the U.S., India, and international markets.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing high-quality, scalable applications using ASP.NET/.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Web API, while collaborating with UI/UX, business, and technology teams to deliver secure, high-performance digital commerce solutions.

Experience with custom eCommerce platforms, REST APIs, payment gateway integrations, and modern Microsoft technologies is highly desirable. Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar coding assistants will be preferred, along with the ability to use them responsibly for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and productivity.

Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable ASP.NET/.NET applications, custom eCommerce platforms, and business solutions using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/.NET, SQL Server, Web API, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, third-party services, payment gateways, ERP/CRM systems, and marketplace integrations to support seamless business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
- Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented code while following software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, application maintenance,



and new-feature development to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft technologies, cloud services, AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and similar), and eCommerce development trends to continuously improve development practices and productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in ASP.NET/.NET development, preferably in eCommerce or business applications.
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core/.NET, Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience working with NopCommerce, custom eCommerce platforms, or similar commerce applications is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, third-party integrations, authentication, payment gateways, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive web development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Agile development methodologies, CI/CD, and software development best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
