About the job:

Kent is looking for a Senior Engineer - Electrical to be based in Mumbai, India.

Your Responsibilities:

- International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices that apply to Electrical.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employees skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employees current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Qualification/ Certification:

- 8-14 years of basic and detail engineering experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with EPC / utility / OEM environment advantageous.

Knowledge:

- Prepare design basis for the project as per the client design criteria.
- Preparation and Review of all discipline engineering and design deliverables such as slds,



specifications, datasheets, BOM, Panel and Cable schedule, interconnection wiring drawings etc.
- Preparation of Area classification drawings.
- Preparation and review of calculations for all Electrical Equipment like Power transformers, DGs, Battery Sizing, Capacitor sizing, Grounding and Lightening protection, Cable sizing etc.
- Decide the substation layouts optimizing the size and design of the same along with the design team.
- Provide guidance for preparation of all layout drawings ,3D models and mto generation.
- Preparation of power control and distribution philosophy for electrical system.
- Review installation drawings.
- Preparation of Requisitions for quotation and for purchase
- Review vendor documents and quotations for compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in project design reviews
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Presentation and business communication skills.
