- Inspect mechanical components enclosures, frames, busbars, heat sinks, brackets and fasteners against engineering drawings.
- Perform in-process dimensional inspection at assembly stations; conduct weld-quality, surface-finish and IP-rating verification on BESS enclosures.
- Document non-conformances, raise quality alerts, and coordinate disposition of rejected components; maintain calibration records for measurement instruments.
- Support FMEA review and control-plan preparation for mechanical assemblies; liaise with vendors on mechanical quality concerns and supplier audits.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficient with vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and basic CMM usage; solid reader of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Experience with weld-inspection standards, surface-finish checks, and IP ingress-protection testing for industrial enclosures.
- Understanding of sheet-metal fabrication and powder-coating processes; disciplined documentation habits.
