Role Overview
We are hiring experienced Electrical Engineers to contribute to an AI engineering project by creating, solving, and reviewing simulation-based electrical engineering tasks used to train advanced AI models.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in electrical design, modeling, simulation, and validation, with expertise in areas such as power systems, power electronics, control systems, electrical machines, circuit design, or instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical engineering problem statements, simulation models, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Perform electrical system modeling, simulation, and analytical validation.
- Review engineering solutions for technical accuracy, completeness, and reproducibility.
- Optimize designs and document engineering assumptions, methodologies, and results.
- Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to improve simulation quality.
Key Requirements
- 910+ years of relevant experience in electrical design, modeling, or simulation.
- Strong fundamentals in power systems, power electronics, electrical machines, control systems, circuit analysis, or instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- MATLAB/Simulink
- ETAP
- DIgSILENT PowerFactory
- PSCAD
- LTspice / PSpice
- KiCad / Altium Designer / AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN
- COMSOL / Ansys Maxwell
- Python or MATLAB scripting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (PhD is a plus).
- Experience with leading engineering, energy, semiconductor, automotive, or industrial automation companies.
Engagement Details
- Remote Contract
- Duration: 8 Weeks
- Commitment: 20–40 hours/week
- Overlap: Minimum 4 hours PST
- Start: Immediate / Next Week
