We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical operations, maintenance, and safety compliance at our site.

This role requires a mandatory, valid DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) Certified Electrical Supervisory License. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum equipment uptime, manage high-voltage power distribution, and maintain strict adherence to legal and safety statutory guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

- Statutory Compliance: Serve as the legally responsible electrical authority under DGMS regulations and ensure compliance with the Indian Electricity Rules.
- Power Distribution: Manage the operation and maintenance of high-voltage (HV/MV/LV) sub-stations, transformers, switchgears, and transmission lines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of heavy earthmoving machinery (HEMM), haulage systems, pumps, and ventilation fans.
- Safety & Audits:



Conduct regular electrical safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure appropriate safety grounding and lightning protection systems are functional.
- Team Leadership: Guide, train, and supervise a team of junior engineers, technicians, and electrical helpers to execute daily operations safely.
- Vendor & Project Management: Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and state electricity boards for power supply and project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Certification: Valid DGMS Electrical Supervisory License (Mandatory).
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Cement Plant or Minerals Beneficiation Plant.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of PLC, SCADA, heavy plant machinery equipment, and electrical safety codes
