Role Overview :

As a Senior E-commerce Developer, you will lead the technical architecture and implementation of complex projects on Shopify Plus and BigCommerce platforms. You will serve as a primary technical authority, collaborating closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, high-converting digital storefronts. Your work will directly influence the performance, stability, and growth of our clients' online businesses, ensuring seamless shopping experiences for millions of end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop custom themes and complex applications on Shopify and BigCommerce to meet specific client business requirements.
- Lead the integration of third-party APIs, ERP systems, and payment gateways to ensure a cohesive and automated e-commerce ecosystem.
- Optimize storefront performance, focusing on page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rate improvements to drive revenue growth.




- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical audits to maintain high standards of security, scalability, and maintainability across all project deliverables.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices, platform updates, and emerging e-commerce trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience for high-traffic stores.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise-level storefronts on Shopify and BigCommerce platforms with 7 - 10 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong ability to architect headless commerce solutions and work effectively with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment, maintaining clear communication and project transparency.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into accurate technical specifications.
- A proactive approach to self-management and time-tracking, ensuring consistent delivery in a distributed, remote-first work culture.
- Experience working on B2B eCommerce projects.
