Role Overview :

As a Senior Consultant specializing in Apache Kafka and NoSQL technologies, you will serve as a technical anchor for high-scale data initiatives. You will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and optimizing distributed systems that handle massive data throughput, ensuring low-latency performance and high availability.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable data pipelines. By driving the adoption of best practices in event-driven architecture and document-oriented storage, you will directly influence the reliability and efficiency of our platform, ultimately delivering a seamless experience for our end users and supporting the companys long-term data strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement resilient event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka to facilitate real-time data streaming across enterprise systems.
- Architect and manage high-performance MongoDB clusters to ensure data integrity, scalability, and optimal query performance for mission-critical applications.
- Optimize distributed systems by fine-tuning configurations, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing automated monitoring to maintain system stability.




- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to foster a culture of technical excellence and adherence to industry-standard development practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to define data modeling strategies that align with evolving business needs and long-term technical scalability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems, with a deep understanding of consistency models and fault tolerance.
- Advanced proficiency in Java development, specifically in writing high-performance, multithreaded applications that interface with messaging queues and NoSQL databases.
- Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of Kafka and MongoDB deployments, including schema design, indexing strategies, and cluster tuning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Exceptional analytical mindset with a focus on proactive troubleshooting and the ability to adapt to quick-paced, hybrid work environments.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5-9 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering and data infrastructure.
