Role Overview

Trivoro is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Commercial Bunker Trader to lead the expansion of our global bunker trading business from our Mumbai office. We are looking for an individual who can originate business, develop long-term customer relationships, negotiate complex commercial transactions, manage trading risk, and contribute strategically to the growth of Trivoro's international trading platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our global customer base, increasing trading volumes, strengthening supplier relationships, and establishing Trivoro as a trusted commercial partner within the marine fuels industry.

Experience

8-15+ years of experience in international bunker trading, marine fuel supply, oil trading, commodity trading, or commercial shipping.

Demonstrated success in originating profitable business and consistently growing trading volumes.

Strong commercial relationships with shipowners, commercial operators, charterers, technical managers, procurement teams, and bunker suppliers.

Established international network across major bunkering hubs will be a significant advantage.

Strong understanding of global marine fuel markets, vessel operations, pricing mechanisms, and commercial negotiations.

Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple commercial opportunities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute Trivoro's global bunker trading strategy across international markets.

Identify, approach,



and convert new shipowners, operators, charterers, fleet managers, and commercial managers into long-term customers.

Build and maintain a sustainable RFQ pipeline while consistently increasing trading volumes and profitability.

Lead commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers while protecting trading margins.

Structure commercially competitive offers by balancing pricing, supplier capability, operational feasibility, credit exposure, and commercial risk.

Build strategic supplier partnerships to secure competitive pricing, flexible credit terms, and reliable operational support.

Monitor bunker prices, crude oil markets, refinery developments, freight markets, geopolitical events, sanctions, regulations, and fuel availability to identify trading opportunities ahead of competitors.

Develop long-term customer relationships based on commercial insight, responsiveness, reliability, and value creation rather than competing solely on price.

Achieve agreed trading volume, revenue, and gross margin targets while maintaining disciplined risk management.

Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth execution, timely documentation, and effective credit management.





Mentor junior traders where required and contribute to building Trivoro's long-term commercial trading capabilities.

Represent Trivoro professionally across customer meetings, industry conferences, supplier discussions, and commercial negotiations.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
