Job Title: Senior Cloud Storage Engineer - NetApp CVO on GCP, AVP

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Storage Engineer to support and engineer solutions around NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial domain environments, infrastructure automation, cloud landing zones, and cloud security best practices.

This role will focus on engineering, automation, optimization, and operational stability of storage workloads in GCP.

Your key responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage NetApp CVO on GCP environments.

Architect and implement secure Landing Zones aligned with financial regulatory requirements.

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.

Manage containerized environments using Docker.

Integrate and manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory.

Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, key management, network segmentation).

Ensure compliance with financial industry standards (audit readiness, data protection controls).

Optimize storage performance, cost, and availability.

Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams.

Provide L3 engineering support and participate in root cause analysis.

Your skills and experience

Mandatory Skills





Strong hands-on experience with:

NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Expertise in

Terraform

Docker

GitHub (CI/CD workflows)

JFrog Artifactory

Experience designing and implementing Cloud Landing Zones

Deep understanding of

Cloud security architecture

IAM, VPC design, encryption, KMS

Financial domain compliance and regulatory controls

Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery setups

Strong troubleshooting and automation mindset

Good to Have

Experience with Kubernetes (GKE)

Knowledge of FinOps / Cloud cost optimization

Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions

Experience in multi-cloud architecture

Domain Experience Requirement

Minimum 7–8 years of overall IT experience

At least 5+ years in Banking / Financial Services

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent stakeholder communication

Experience working in enterprise-scale environments

Proactive and ownership-driven mindset

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
