About the Role: We are looking for a Buyer South Region to drive merchandise planning and buying decisions for our stores across.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of preferences, wedding and occasion wear trends, and luxury ethnic retail. The role requires the ability to analyse customer preferences, sales data, regional trends, and market insights to curate assortments that align with both customer demand and the brand's design philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute buying strategies for stores based on customer demand, regional preferences, and business objectives.
- Analyse sales performance, customer buying behaviour, price points, and category-wise trends to make informed buying decisions.
- Track and forecast fashion trends, colour palettes, silhouettes, fabrics, and occasion wear preferences across the South market.
- Curate product assortments while maintaining brand consistency and positioning.
- Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Planning, and Retail teams to ensure optimal product selection and inventory management.
- Monitor stock performance and recommend replenishment, transfers, markdowns,



or fresh buys as required.
- Evaluate customer feedback and market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and product gaps.
- Maintain a robust understanding of bridal wear, lehengas, sarees, salwar suits, festive wear, and special occasion fashion.
- Support seasonal buying plans, launch collections, and ensure alignment with revenue and profitability targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Buying/Merchandising within luxury ethnic wear, designer wear, bridal wear, or multi-designer retail.
- Strong understanding of South region consumer preferences, wedding markets, and regional fashion trends.
- Experience handling categories such as lehengas, sarees, salwar suits, occasion wear, and bridal collections.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports, customer insights, and inventory data.
- Commercially driven with a strong eye for fashion, trends, colours, silhouettes, and styling.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Prior experience with designer brands, luxury ethnic wear labels, or premium fashion retailers will be preferred.

Location: South (Preferred base: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Chennai)
