About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in MERN Stack technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade web applications and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js .
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
- Design and manage MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and query optimization.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT , OAuth, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Collaborate with frontend developers using React.js to ensure seamless API integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement caching solutions such as Redis to improve application performance.
- Integrate cloud services such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in sprint planning,



estimation, and Agile development processes.
- Ensure application security by implementing best practices and addressing vulnerabilities.

Required Skills
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js , Express.js , JavaScript (ES6+) , and TypeScript .
- Strong experience with MongoDB and database optimization.
- Good understanding of React.js and frontend integration.
- Experience in designing scalable microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, and API security.
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and version control workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, or similar messaging systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and API testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in product-based or SaaS companies is preferred.
- Knowledge of GraphQL is an added advantage.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of system design and scalable distributed applications.
