Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in native Android development using Kotlin and Java, contemporary Android architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-based integrations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Build scalable, secure, and responsive mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following Android best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and responsiveness.
- Implement modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Write unit tests, UI tests, and ensure code quality through code reviews.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues across multiple Android devices and OS versions.
- Ensure application security, data privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, libraries, and development trends.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Extensive experience with the Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Strong understanding of Android Jetpack components.




- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development.
- MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Repository Pattern.
- RESTful APIs and JSON parsing.
- Dependency Injection (Hilt or Dagger).
- Local databases (Room, SQLite).
- Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).
- Asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
- Version control using Git.
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, or Azure DevOps.
- Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).
- Knowledge of Material Design Guidelines.
- App performance optimization and memory management.
- Experience with offline-first application development.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Android application development.
- Proven experience developing and publishing Android applications on the Google Play Store.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with GraphQL integration.
- Knowledge of Android NDK and C++ is a plus.
- Experience with Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, Camera, or IoT integrations.
- Familiarity with payment gateway integrations.
- Experience with mobile security best practices and encryption.
- Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as Flutter or React Native.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications.

- Google Associate Android Developer Certification
