Section: Purpose of the position

Responsible for accurate and timely preparation, validation and submission of regulatory reports / returns for Operations, ensuring compliance with RBI / statutory requirements, internal policies and Head Office guidelines

Section: Job Responsibilities

- Prepare, validate and coordinate submission of regulatory reports / returns applicable to Operations within prescribed timelines.
- Collate data from relevant systems / teams and perform maker-level checks, reconciliations and reasonableness validations before reporting.
- Maintain a regulatory reporting calendar / tracker covering due dates, owners, dependencies, submission status and evidence of completion.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Business, Branch Operations and Technology teams for data requirements, clarifications and issue resolution.
- Ensure reports are reviewed, documented and supported by appropriate working papers, audit trails and approval evidence.
- Identify data gaps, exceptions and control weaknesses, escalate them in a timely manner and support closure of corrective actions.




- Track changes in RBI / statutory / Head Office reporting requirements and support timely impact assessment and operational implementation.
- Support automation / system enhancement requirements for regulatory reporting, including UAT and validation of reports where required.
- Prepare MIS / dashboards for reporting status, open issues, ageing items and key risks for management review.
- Support internal audit, statutory audit, regulatory inspection and compliance review queries related to Operations regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and periodically update process notes, SOPs and control checklists for regulatory reporting activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, maker-checker controls, data confidentiality requirements and Head Office guidelines.
- Promote a robust control and risk management culture within Operations.
- Other work allocated by the management from time to time.
