Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Software Engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.

- Plan, analyse, write & execute automated test scripts for UI and API test automation.

- Validate Angular UI components, user flows, and integrations with backend services.

- Develop and maintain API functional tests using tools like Postman.

- Develop UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.

- Participate in code reviews from a testing/quality perspective.

- Perform manual exploratory testing where needed to uncover edge cases.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate quality gates and automated tests.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack and assist in root-cause analysis.

- Identify gaps in testing and proactively improve automation and QA processes.

- Ensure performance, scalability, and security testing practices for services and UI.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

- 8-10 years of testing experience in modern web-application environments

- Hands-on automation experience in frameworks and scripting, in Java with playwright

- Experience validating Angular front-end applications

- Solid fundamentals in test automation best practices

- Experience with API automation frameworks (REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, NBomber, k6, Apache JMeter etc.)

- Experience with UI automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Zephyr, etc.)

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps)

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
