Role Description The Senior Accounts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The role includes managing general ledger activities, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring adherence to statutory and tax regulations.

The Senior Accounts

Manager will handle accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, budgeting, and cash flow management while coordinating with internal departments and external auditors. This position also involves supervising junior accounting staff, improving financial processes,



and providing management with timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management in a corporate or mid-sized business environment.
- Solid knowledge of Indian tax laws, statutory compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements; experience coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring accounting teams, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in IT, office automation, or systems integration industries is preferred, with readiness to work on-site in Chennai on a full time basis.
