About the role

We are an FMCG warehousing and super stockist business in Kolkata, holding stock for leading consumer brands across multiple warehouses and serving a network of distributors and retailers.

We need a Senior Accounts Manager to own the books end to end: finalisation, GST and TDS compliance, stock and claims reconciliation, and MIS for management. Hands-on role with real ownership, reporting to the Director.

What you will own

- Complete books in Tally Prime up to finalisation: Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet
- GST: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing, GSTR-2B reconciliation, input credit, GSTR-9 support
- TDS: deduction, deposit, quarterly returns, Form 16 and 16A
- Physical stock versus book stock reconciliation across warehouses
- Damages, expiry, shortages and claims against principal companies
- Distributor receivables and ageing, vendor payables, bank reconciliation
- Monthly MIS: profitability by principal, warehouse-wise cost, budget versus actual
- Statutory, internal and stock audits
- Supervise 2 to 4 junior accountants

What we need
- B.Com or M.Com.



CA Inter, CMA Inter or MBA Finance a robust plus
- 5 to 8 years in accounts, at least 2 years supervisory
- Strong Tally Prime. You file GST and TDS returns yourself, not just supervise
- Advanced Excel and large-data reconciliation
- Inventory and stock accounting experience
- Able to finalise accounts independently up to Balance Sheet
- FMCG distribution, super stockist, C&F; or warehousing background preferred
- English, Hindi and Bengali
