With solid domestic and international operations, we are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager who can independently manage finance, taxation, banking, and statutory compliance while supporting business growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager with 10–12 years of experience in Import-Export, International Trading, or Commodity Trading companies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of accounting, GST, taxation, export documentation, banking operations, FEMA regulations, and statutory compliance.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling complete accounts, coordinating with banks, auditors, tax consultants, government authorities, and internal departments while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Handle complete accounting functions from voucher entry to finalization of accounts.
- Maintain General Ledger, Cash Book, Bank Book, Purchase & Sales Registers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor cash flow,



fund flow, and working capital requirements.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Handle complete GST compliance including:
- GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return)
- GST Reconciliation
- GST Refund Applications
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
- Handle Advance Tax and Corporate Income Tax compliance.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for Income Tax assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other statutory requirements.
- Respond to notices from GST, Income Tax, and other government authorities.

1. Banking & Trade Finance

- Manage all banking transactions and relationships.
- Coordinate with banks for:
- Working Capital Limits
- Cash Credit (CC)
- Overdraft (OD)
- Letter of Credit (LC)
- Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Packing Credit
- Export Credit
- Prepare CMA data and financial information required by banks.
- Handle Bank Realization Certificates (BRC/e-BRC).
- Monitor export proceeds realization.
- Coordinate with bankers for foreign remittances and export financing.

1. Export-Import Documentation

- Handle complete export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Documents
- Export Declaration
- Coordinate with CHA, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, and Logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with Customs regulations.
- Maintain export documentation records.
- Monitor export shipments and documentation timelines.

FEMA & Foreign Exchange Compliance

- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations.
- Monitor foreign inward remittances.
- Handle export realization within RBI timelines.
- Coordinate with Authorized Dealer (AD) Banks.
- Maintain documentation related to foreign exchange transactions.
- Support RBI reporting requirements.

1. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare:
- Monthly MIS Reports
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Reports
- Budget vs Actual Analysis
- Present financial reports to management.
- Monitor business profitability.
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

1. Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with:
- Statutory Auditors
- Internal Auditors
- GST Auditors
- Tax Consultants
- Company Secretaries
- Prepare schedules for audit.
- Ensure timely completion of audits.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.

1. Team Management

- Supervise accounting staff.
- Review accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Train junior finance team members.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should possess:
- 10–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Mandatory experience in Import-Export, International Trading House, Commodity Trading, or FMCG Export companies.
- Experience in Rice, Sugar, Pulses, Agricultural Commodities, Edible Oil, or similar trading businesses will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of export-import accounting.
- Practical knowledge of customs procedures and export documentation.
- Hands-on experience in GST refund processes.
- Strong exposure to banking operations and trade finance.
- Excellent understanding of FEMA regulations.
- Ability to independently handle complete finance and accounting operations.
