Role Description The Senior Academic Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida and Gurgaon. This role involves guiding prospective and current learners through academic pathways, program selection, and career goals, ensuring they align with individual aspirations and market demands. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing academic advising, and supporting learners in making informed decisions about courses and learning tracks.

The Senior Academic

Counsellor will collaborate with academic and operations teams to improve learner experience, track progress, and identify interventions for better outcomes.



The role also includes maintaining accurate counseling records, participating in outreach activities, and contributing insights to enhance Hero Vired’s learning offerings.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in student counseling and academic advising, with the ability to support diverse learner profiles.

Demonstrated experience in career counseling, helping learners map educational choices to career opportunities.

Excellent communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and professional written communication.

Background in education or related fields, with an understanding of academic programs, curricula, and learning outcomes.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.

Proven ability to build trust with learners, handle sensitive conversations, and maintain confidentiality.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.

Comfort working with digital tools and CRM or student information systems to manage learner interactions.

Prior experience in edtech, higher education, or skilled learning environments is an advantage.
