Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Selenium Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in understanding application requirements, designing and executing automated test scripts, and improving test automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and analyze the Application Under Test (AUT).
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Identify web elements using various Selenium locators (ID, XPath, CSS Selector, Name, Class, etc.).
- Develop reusable automation scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver APIs.
- Execute automation test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
- Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure application quality.
- Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and regression testing.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to automation best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver.
- Good programming knowledge in Core Java.
- Experience creating automation test cases and test scripts.
- Positive understanding of Application Under Test (AUT) analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium Element Locators and WebDriver API.
- Experience with Functional, Regression, and Smoke Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
