Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Criminal Investigation

Conduct internal and external investigations, including: Theft, fraud, cyber-related incidents

Workplace misconduct and violence

Security breaches and policy violations

Collect, preserve, and document evidence in compliance with legal standards

Conduct interviews and interrogations to establish facts

Prepare legally defensible investigation reports

Coordinate with law enforcement and legal teams for escalation and closure

1. CCTV Monitoring, Tracking & Video Analysis

Perform CCTV monitoring, tracking, and behavioral analysis Conduct detailed video review for incidents and anomaly detection

Support incident reconstruction using CCTV and system data

Detect suspicious activity, violations, and operational risks

Ensure CCTV system effectiveness, coverage, and recording integrity

Maintain video evidence records for investigation and audit purposes

1. Command Center Operations

Operate and support central security command center (control room) Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and incident systems

Ensure timely incident detection, escalation, and communication

Maintain operational readiness of monitoring tools and systems

Support 24/7 centralized monitoring effectiveness

1. Incident Coordination & Cross-Functional Interface

Act as key coordinator across functions during incidents

Collaborate with

HR (disciplinary actions)

IT (logs, digital evidence, cyber linkage)

Operations (process gaps and corrective actions)

Security operations teams (on-ground response)

Support incident lifecycle:

1. On-Site Audit (CP Audit) & Risk Assessment

Conduct Control Point (CP) audits and site inspections Identify gaps in physical security, guard deployment, and processes

Provide corrective and preventive recommendations

Support implementation of improvement actions

1. Security Operations Review & Improvement

Analyze incidents and trends to identify systemic risks Conduct security operations review and post-incident analysis

Drive continuous improvement of SOPs, monitoring workflows, and controls

Support data-driven security decision-making

1. Reporting & Compliance

Prepare:

Investigation case reports

CCTV analysis and tracking reports

Command center logs and incident summaries

Ensure compliance with

Legal requirements (IPC, IT Act)

Evidence handling standards

Internal policies and audit requirements

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of Indian criminal law (IPC, IT Act), evidence handling, and chain-of-custody

Expertise in criminal investigation methodologies and forensic documentation

Proficiency in digital forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite)

Strong capability in CCTV monitoring, tracking, video analytics, and surveillance systems (VMS)

Experience in command center operations, incident monitoring, and escalation protocols

Ability to perform

CCTV tracking and behavior analysis

Access logs and digital footprint analysis

Multi-source incident reconstruction

Security gap identification through audits
