Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigation workflows — to evaluate how AI systems reason through them
Review AI-generated detection logic and investigation outputs for accuracy and real-world alignment
Validate that AI responses reflect how skilled analysts actually detect, triage, and respond to threats
Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows
Sharp instinct for separating true security signals from noise and false positives
Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, or the Cyber Kill Chain
Background working across multiple SIEM or SOAR platforms
