About The Job:

SDET Lead

Essential Job Functions:

- Lead the testing and quality efforts on a new team, working in collaboration with other feature delivery teams to ensure appropriate practices and processes are followed.
- Oversee and participate in the development and review of test strategies and test plans to ensure appropriate test coverage of all features.
- Oversee and participate in the performance of tests across various applications.
- Work with, extend and improve existing test automation framework and guide the team in the development of automated tests.
- Work closely with product and development to cultivate a culture of quality within the team.




- Become a subject matter expert in the domain and applications built and supported by the program.

Qualifications:

- Experience in QA Automation Engineering.
- Experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing of Web UI applications, API, and database automation testing.
- Expertise in automation testing using WebdriverIO (TypeScript), Cypress (JavaScript), and Playwright (JavaScript) for both automation and manual testing.
- Proficient in Hybrid and BDD frameworks.
- Adept at managing all stages of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Solid understanding of database concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data migration testing.
- Experience working in CI/CD environments with tools such as Azure and TeamCity.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Container Orchestration Service, and ECS.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with secret management in testing.




- Proficiency with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and testing tools including Selenium and WebDriver.
