Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP OpenText xECM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Document Management System (DMS) and OpenText Extended Enterprise Content Management (xECM). The ideal candidate will independently lead and execute end-to-end SAP DMS to OpenText xECM migration projects while ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

The role requires hands-on experience in content migration, metadata mapping, ArchiveLink configuration, Business Workspace setup, and OpenText Content Server administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute end-to-end migration projects from SAP DMS to OpenText xECM.
- Analyze existing SAP DMS repositories and define migration strategies.
- Configure and customize OpenText xECM Business Workspaces and metadata categories.
- Perform metadata mapping, transformation, and validation during migration.
- Configure and support SAP ArchiveLink integration with OpenText Content Server.
- Integrate OpenText xECM with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Preserve document versions, metadata, security, and relationships throughout the migration process.
- Perform migration validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Troubleshoot migration, integration, and performance issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration reports,



and knowledge transfer documents.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Mandatory Skills
- Solid hands-on experience with OpenText xECM for SAP .
- Expertise in OpenText Content Server administration and configuration.
- Robust knowledge of SAP Document Management System (SAP DMS) .
- Experience with SAP ArchiveLink configuration and integration.
- Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA .
- Hands-on experience with Business Object Declarations .
- Business Workspace configuration and customization.
- Metadata mapping, transformation, and migration strategies.
- Content migration, reconciliation, and validation.
- Document versioning and lifecycle management.
- OTDS (OpenText Directory Services) administration.
- Experience with OpenText Archive Center / Archive Server.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with large-scale enterprise document migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP content management best practices.
- Experience with migration automation tools and scripting.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant SAP and/or OpenText certifications are preferred.
