Job Title: SAP MM and EWM Consultant (Expert Level)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Expert SAP MM + WM (Materials Management + External

Warehouse Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP MM and EWM configuration, procurement processes, inventory management, designing warehouse operations processes and integration with other SAP modules. This role requires deep expertise in end-to-

end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and Warehousing processes, robust problem-

solving skills, and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM + EWM Implementation & Support:

 Work with batch jobs error rectification

 Work with IDOCS

 Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions to meet business requirements.

 Provide expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), including purchase requisitions,

purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation.

 Provide expertise in the area of Warehouse structures and operations including warehouse number, storage types, sections, bins, activity areas, work centers and resource management.

 Support SAP ECC, S/4HANA migration and SAP MM system upgrades.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization:

 Analyze business needs and propose SAP MM solutions to optimize procurement and inventory processes.

 Collaborate with procurement, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

 Implement and enhance automatic account determination, pricing procedures, and inventory valuation.

 Implement warehousing operations in SAP EWM

Configuration & Integration:

 Configure material master data, purchasing documents, inventory management, MRP (Material Requirement Planning), and valuation.

 Configure EWM for inbound processing (ASN, GR, Putaway), outbound processing (Picking, Packing, staging, GI), Internal Warehouse Movements,





Physical Inventory (Cycle counting, Annual Inventory), Cross docking and replenishment

 Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with FI (Financial Accounting), SD

(Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning) modules.

 Work with ABAP developers to enhance custom reports, user exits, and workflows.

Inventory & Warehouse Management:

 Manage stock transfers, consignment processes, subcontracting, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI).

 Configure EWM Master data - Products, Packaging Specifications, Handling

Units, WH Process types and storage control,

 Implement putaway and removal strategies, Slotting and rearrangement, Labor and resource management and Yard Managment

 Implement batch management, split valuation, and serialization as required.

 Ensure cycle counting and physical inventory processes align with business needs.

Support, Training & Documentation:

 Provide L2/L3 support for SAP MM-related incidents and troubleshooting.

 Conduct user training sessions and create functional specifications, process documentation, and test scripts.

 Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system performance testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, with expertise in

SAP S/4HANA (preferred).

 Technical Knowledge:

o Strong experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management

(IM) and Extended Warehouse Management.

o Deep understanding of pricing procedures, release strategies,

automatic account determination, and MRP and Warehouse

Operations processes in SAP EWM o Experience with integration of SAP MM & EWM with SAP FI, SD and

PP o Hands-on experience in LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench),

IDocs, and batch job processing.

o Knowledge of ABAP debugging (preferred).

 Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

 Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, IT, or a related field. SAP MM certification is a plus.
