: SAP EC Payroll Configuration Consultant Location: India (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite) Experience Required: 10+ Years Role Type: Full time / Permanent / Contract About The Role We are looking for an experienced SAP Employee Central (EC) Payroll Configuration Consultant who will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EC Payroll for global clients. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Payroll rules, schemas, configuration, testing, and integrations with EC and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities SAP EC Payroll Implementation & Configuration

Configure EC Payroll based on client requirements including Wage Types, Payroll Schemas, PCRs, Features, and Rules. Support design workshops and gather payroll business requirements.

Perform

Gross-to-Net payroll configuration, testing, parallel runs, and validation.

Employee

Central (EC) Integration

Set up EC–EC Payroll integration including data replication, BIB, and interfaces. Work with EC team on Position Management, Time Data, Compensation Data, and Employee Master Data flows.

Payroll

Operations & Support

Troubleshoot payroll issues, off-cycle payroll, retro payroll, bank files, tax rules, and year-end activities.

Provide

Go-Live support, payroll monitoring, error handling, and performance improvements. Testing & Documentation

Prepare test scripts,



execute UAT, create configuration documents, and maintain functional specs. Collaborate with ABAP team for RICEF objects such as custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces. Compliance & Legal Requirements

Knowledge of country-specific payroll rules, statutory compliance, and tax regulations (India/Global based on project).

Experience with legal changes, payroll updates, and SAP notes.

Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Payroll (EC Payroll / SAP HCM Payroll). Strong experience in Payroll Schemas, PCRs, Wage Types, Time Data, and Off-cycle payroll.

Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and data replication. Strong debugging and issue resolution skills in payroll processing. Understanding of PA/OM/Time Management modules.

Experience with BIB, CPI, EC Integration, and interface monitoring. Ability to prepare high-quality documentation and client presentations.

Preferred Skills Certification in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

Experience in multi-country payroll environments. Working knowledge of SAP CPI or Dell Boomi integration.

Experience with Agile methodologies.
