About The Job:

- Seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, support, and transformation programs.
- The ideal candidate should bring strong Financial Accounting process expertise, 5+ years within a leading IT services organization, and preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent finance background.
- The role also requires practical experience, functional knowledge, or implementation exposure to SAP Business AI capabilities, SAP Joule AI Assistants, and SAP Joule AI Agents for Finance, including financial close automation, receivables management, dispute resolution, cash application, finance insights, and AI-driven decision support within SAP S/4HANA Cloud and RISE with SAP landscapes

Essential Job Functions:

- Lead SAP FI implementation, rollout, support, transformation, and optimization projects across global enterprises.
- Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking, Treasury integration, Taxation, and Financial Closing processes.
- Design scalable finance solutions aligned with business requirements, statutory regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams including CO, MM, SD, PP, Treasury, Group Reporting, and SAP BTP teams.
- Drive finance process automation initiatives leveraging SAP Business AI, SAP Joule AI Assistants, and SAP Joule AI Agents.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
- Identify opportunities for AI-led process optimization, exception handling reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Conduct business workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design sessions, and user training programs.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and deployment plans.
- Support system upgrades, SAP S/4HANA migrations, RISE with SAP programs, and innovation initiatives.
- Provide governance for financial controls, audit compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development in Finance AI and SAP innovations.

SAP Joule AI & Finance AI Responsibilities Financial Close & Record-to-Report (R2R)

- Financial Close Assistant
- Monitor close progress across entities.
- Identify delayed close tasks and bottlenecks.
- Recommend corrective actions and prioritization.
- Generate close-status summaries and management insights.

- Journal Entry Analysis Agent
- Detect unusual journal postings.




- Analyze exceptions and anomalies.
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews.
- Recommend corrective accounting actions.

- Financial Statement Insights Assistant
- Provide AI-generated explanations of P&L; and Balance Sheet variances.
- Deliver executive summaries for finance leadership.
- Support management reporting and decision-making.

- Intercompany Reconciliation Agent
- Identify intercompany mismatches.
- Recommend reconciliation actions.
- Accelerate period-end close activities.
- Improve group consolidation accuracy.

- Close Task Orchestration Agent
- Coordinate close activities across teams.
- Monitor dependencies and completion status.
- Escalate risks proactively.
- Improve close cycle efficiency.

Receivables & Order-to-Cash (O2C)

- Accounts Receivable Collections Agent
- Prioritize collection activities using AI-driven risk scoring.
- Recommend customer follow-up actions.
- Improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Support collection managers with predictive insights.

- Cash Application Agent
- Automate matching of incoming payments with invoices.
- Handle payment exceptions.
- Improve straight-through processing rates.
- Reduce manual intervention.

- Dispute Resolution Agent
- Analyze customer disputes and deduction patterns.
- Recommend resolution paths.
- Reduce dispute aging and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 8+ Years

Core SAP FI / S/4HANA Finance Expertise
- Financial Accounting: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Electronic Bank Statement, Taxation, Financial Closing, and Financial Reporting.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New GL, Parallel Ledger, and Group Reporting.
- SAP Business AI & Joule: Experience with SAP Business AI strategy, SAP Joule capabilities, AI-driven finance automation, and intelligent finance processes.
- Integration: Experience integrating SAP FI with CO, MM, SD, Treasury, and Group Reporting.
- Compliance & Controls: Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, local statutory regulations, audit controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Client Leadership: Ability to lead workshops, solution design sessions, and client-facing discussions with strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of SAP FI implementation and support experience.




- Minimum 5 years working with a leading IT consulting/services organization.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- SAP Business AI or SAP Joule-related exposure/certifications.
- Experience with SAP FSCM, including Collections Management, Credit Management, and Dispute Management.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country implementations.
- Knowledge of RISE with SAP transformation programs.
- Exposure to GenAI, AI agents, and intelligent automation frameworks within SAP landscapes.
