Senior Consultant – SAP ABAP HR + OData

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant – SAP ABAP HR + OData to design, develop, and support custom solutions within the SAP HCM landscape. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP HR development , OData services , SAP HCM modules, payroll processes, and integrations with internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance ABAP HR programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and custom developments.
- Design and maintain OData services for SAP HCM/Fiori applications.
- Work with HR Infotypes, PNP/PNPCE logical databases, payroll clusters, and HR macros.
- Develop ALV reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, workflows, and custom HR transactions.
- Build and support integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, OData, and file-based interfaces.
- Support Payroll, Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management developments.
- Perform technical analysis, debugging, testing, code reviews, transport management, and production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants during implementation, enhancement,



and support projects.

Required Skills

- 6–10+ years of SAP ABAP experience with strong expertise in ABAP HR.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HCM modules including Payroll, PA, OM, and Time Management.
- Strong knowledge of HR Infotypes, Payroll Clusters (PCL2), PNP/PNPCE logical databases, and HR macros.
- Experience developing OData services using SAP Gateway (SEGW).
- Expertise in SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and Workflows.
- Experience with SAP HCM integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and file-based interfaces.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP HCM implementation along with support and enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of India Payroll and SuccessFactors integration is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SAP ABAP or SAP HCM certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
