Roles and Responsibilities :

- The Banquet Sales Manager must conduct regular sales calls to meet with clients.

- The Manager is responsible for securing ODC (Outdoor Catering) and F&B; business for the unit.

- Regularly meeting clients to establish strong rapport and effective communication is essential to bring F&B; business to the unit.

- The Banquet Sales Manager is tasked with securing outdoor catering orders, packed lunch orders, and bookings for corporate and personal events.

- The executive is responsible for achieving the unit's banquet budget and revenue targets.

- To follow up leads by visiting prospective clients regularly, often enough to maintain their interest but not too often to alienate them.

- To achieve or better budgeted sales targets.

- To identify prospective clients' exact needs, by questioning, observation and the completion of a full sales survey.

- To entertain prospective clients, where possible combining this with visits to existing satisfied customers.





- To liaise closely with operational staff on all details for a prospective recent contract and gain their agreement on all details.

- To maintain communication with the client once the contract is opened and show an ongoing interest in the operation.

- To complete a daily/weekly log of all activities.

- To analyse statistics thereby identifying key sales areas, problems and success rate.

Job Requirements :

- 6-10 years of experience in the Sales in Hospitality industry with a focus on sales or client relationship management.

- Strong understanding of finance principles with ability to analyze financial data for business growth.

- Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.

- Proven track record in leading teams towards achieving sales targets.
