This role requires you to work out of our centre in Bangalore. This role cannot be performed online. Please apply only if you are available to work for a minimum of a year. Teaching is a very serious profession and we at Art Beat, take teaching very seriously.

Our primary approach is to offer safe and structured activities in age-appropriate environments where children are encouraged to learn, play, explore and discover. Our aim is to help each child realize his or her hidden potential that appears enveloped even after attending school

We are looking for a passionate Art Expert who can help us build a strong community of budding artists, and build & manage curriculum for various art courses. This art expert will lead the teachers & teaching at Art Beat.

Roles & responsibilities

- Work as the main teacher at Art Beat, guide other teaching staff, assistant teachers and interns.

- Take sessions, courses for our students both online and offline

- Build and manage art curriculum for Art Beat

- Work on cutting-edge ideas that involve art across different mediums such as painting, sketching, pastels, acrylics, etc. to build interesting art course curriculum for kids & adults.

- Mentor and train art teachers to ensure that teaching quality is met as per Art Beat standard.





- Periodically work on class audit and give feedback to teachers to improve.

- Plan and prepare worksheets, access the art worksheet online on Google classroom.

- Work on video curriculum, give feedback on pre recorded classes & live classes.

- Providing clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge.

- Ensuring effective teaching and best use of available time.

- Should know how to shoot instructional videos & engage kids in the online class.

- Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work.

- Support teachers with curriculum planning and coordination

- Work allocation for all teachers at the school

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Needs to have a background in Art/Fine Arts. Preferably a master's or bachelor's (with experience) in fine arts

Prior experience in an Art school or a pre-school is a plus.

Prior experience of teaching is mandatory.

Must know sketching, acrylics, watercolors, oils, pastels, traditional art forms
