We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Hyper-V Administrator with 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting virtualized Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Hyper-V, Windows Server infrastructure, and related network services, with a solid focus on operational excellence and vendor collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and support Windows Server 2008/2012 in both physical and virtual environments.
- Administer and maintain Hyper-V and VMware environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Perform data center (DC) migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and resolve system-related issues effectively.
- Manage and support core networking services such as DHCP, DNS, load balancing, and IIS.
- Monitor and manage server capacity and performance, identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks.
- Conduct remote administration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers in distributed environments.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to uphold and improve Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to the enhancement of operational policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks with vendor teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of experience in Windows Server and virtualization administration.
- Proven experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms.
- In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals and Windows-based infrastructure services.
- Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and remote systems management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise IT environments.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
