JD: Salesforce Senior DeveloperRole Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Senior Developer who can independently design, build, test, troubleshoot, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. The candidate should understand business requirements, recommend appropriate technical approaches, and take ownership of features from development through production support.

Experience

- Typically 5 to 8 years of overall experience
- At least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Experience working on Salesforce implementation, enhancement, integration, or managed-services projects

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and other platform capabilities.
- Build secure, reusable, bulk-safe, and maintainable components.
- Develop and support REST, SOAP, event-driven, and middleware-based integrations.
- Configure Salesforce using objects, fields, validation rules, permissions, reports, dashboards, Flow, and other declarative capabilities where appropriate.
- Select the right approach across standard configuration, Flow, Apex, LWC, APIs, and external services.
- Analyse requirements and independently own technical design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support for assigned features.
- Troubleshoot performance, security, data, automation, and integration issues.
- Write effective automated tests and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Support and mentor junior developers.
- Explore and contribute to Agentforce, AI-enabled workflows, prompt-based solutions,



and agent integrations where applicable.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, triggers, LWC, Flow, SOQL, asynchronous Apex, and Salesforce APIs
- Valuable understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, data modelling, governor limits, and large-data considerations
- Experience with integrations, authentication, error handling, logging, and asynchronous processing
- Familiarity with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, code reviews, and deployment tools
- Experience in at least one major Salesforce cloud such as Sales, Service, Experience, Field Service, Revenue Cloud, or an industry cloud
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ownership skills
- Ability to clarify requirements and explain technical solutions to business analysts, QA teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

Emerging Technology Expectations

Candidates should have awareness or practical exposure to some of the following:

- Agentforce and AI agents
- Salesforce Data Cloud
- Prompt design, grounding, agent actions, and AI guardrails
- Headless or API-first Salesforce applications
- Platform Events and Change Data Capture
- External AI, web, mobile, or enterprise-system integrations
- DevOps automation and AI-assisted development
- Responsible use and validation of AI-generated code, configurations, tests, and technical recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, App Builder, or relevant cloud certifications are advantageous

Pay: ₹641,531.46 - ₹2,115,555.03 per year
