Role Description The Sales Attendant role is a full time, on-site position based at the Clay by Lingaraj Granites showroom in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Attendant will greet customers, understand their requirements, and guide them through product selections across categories such as marbles, granites, tiles, bath ware, and other home decor materials. Daily tasks include explaining product features and benefits, providing price information, preparing basic quotations, and coordinating with the showroom team to ensure smooth order processing. The role also involves maintaining product displays,



ensuring the showroom is clean and presentable, and updating stock or sample information as needed.

The Sales

Attendant will support follow-up with customers, assist with after-sales queries, and contribute to a positive, professional showroom experience.

Qualifications Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage visitors, understand needs, and provide clear product guidance.

Basic knowledge of home decor or building materials (marbles, granites, tiles, bath ware, lighting, flooring) or willingness to learn quickly.

Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with a polite, professional manner and active listening abilities.

Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, maintain displays, and support order processing efficiently.

Comfort with basic numeracy and documentation for handling pricing, simple quotations, bills, and inventory notes.

Ability to work on-site full-time, stand for extended periods, and collaborate effectively with showroom and operations teams.

Prior experience in retail, showroom, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.

Minimum high school education; a diploma or degree in commerce, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
