- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the smooth functioning and preventive maintenance of all hospital equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other infrastructure.
- Conduct routine inspections of hospital facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure a secure, clean, and functional environment.
- Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance work carried out by technicians, contractors, and external vendors.
- Monitor the operation of generators, UPS systems, air conditioning units, water supply systems, and other essential utilities.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, equipment servicing, breakdown reports, and asset inventories.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, fire safety regulations, and statutory maintenance requirements.
- Respond promptly to maintenance complaints and emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
- Coordinate with department heads to plan preventive maintenance activities without affecting patient care.
- Monitor maintenance inventory, spare parts, and consumables, and ensure timely procurement when required.
- Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations,



and infrastructure upgrades while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Maintenance Executive – Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in facility or maintenance management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, generators, fire safety systems, and building maintenance.
- Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations, statutory compliance, and hospital maintenance standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance record-keeping.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to respond to emergency maintenance issues and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
