Job Description

We are seeking a midrange-level SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end procurement and inventory management processes, including configuration, support, testing, and user training. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure SAP MM solutions meet business needs.

About the Role

- Configure and support SAP MM modules: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Pricing, etc.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP MM implementation, rollout, and support projects.
- Handle issue resolution (L2/L3 support), incident management, and change requests related to SAP MM.
- Collaborate with business process owners to analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Work with technical teams (ABAP) for development of custom objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms).

Key Responsibilities

- - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT with business users.

- - Prepare functional specifications, user manuals, and training documents.

- - Ensure compliance with internal control and IT governance policies.

- - Participate in data migration and cutover activities.





- - Coordinate with other SAP module consultants (SD, FI, WM, PP) to ensure seamless cross-module integration.

Requirements

- - 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module.

- - Strong understanding of core MM processes: procurement (PR, PO), MIGO, MIRO, STOs, physical inventory.

- - Experience with Release Strategies, Pricing Procedures, Account Determination, Batch Management, Subcontracting.

- - Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4HANA (preferred).

- - Basic knowledge of integration with SD, FI, PP, and WM modules

- - Experience in preparing functional specifications for WRICEF objects.

- - Positive understanding of business processes in procurement and inventory management.

- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Skills

- - SAP MM Certification (nice to have).

- - Experience in working with international clients or global rollouts.

- - Knowledge of Fiori apps related to procurement (if on S/4HANA).

- - Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Solution Manager.
