- 10+ years of programming in AS400 using DB2, RPG, RPG ILE and embedded SQL RPG ILE, System/36, COBOL & COBOL ILE.
- Strong experience in DB2 SQL, Experiment table and stored procedure creation using SQL.
- Utilizes multiple RPG versions (II, III…ILE), other programming languages and software technologies to modify, design, code, test, and analyse software programs and applications.
- P&C; Insurance Experience.
- Excellent knowledge on AS400 CL, CLLE programming. Experience with journaling and triggers.
- Must be able to create new RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, COBOL program as well as fix and modify older RPG programs.
- Production Support Experience
- Evaluates service level issues and suggests enhancements. Runs and monitors software performance tests in order to correct errors,
target improvements, and debug.
- Prepares documentation of software requirement
- Creates technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs.
