As an Event Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing:

- Highlight videos
- Teasers
- Social media reels
- Theme-based edits
- Candid and cinematic cuts

Your role is to bring each event’s theme, mood, and emotion to life through clean and thoughtful editing.

Key Responsibilities1. Professional Editing of Highlights and Teasers

- Edit clean, engaging highlight films (2–5 minutes) that capture the essence of the event.
- Create teaser edits (20–45 seconds) with strong visual hooks suitable for social media.
- Maintain storytelling flow, smooth pacing, and emotional impact.

2. Theme and Aesthetic Integration

- Understand each event’s theme and reflect it through transitions, fonts, pacing, and editing style.
- Maintain a balance between creativity and clarity.
- Ensure the edit matches the aesthetic vision of the client and the brand.

3. Advanced Color Grading

- Correct lighting, white balance, and skin tones.
- Apply cinematic, clean, and consistent color grading across multiple camera sources.
- Enhance mood and theme through appropriate color tones.

4. Music Selection and Sound Design

- Select music that aligns with the event’s vibe—emotional, devotional, playful, energetic, or elegant.
- Sync cuts with beats and maintain proper audio balance.

5. Workflow Management and Delivery





- Organize footage and maintain a clean project structure.
- Follow file delivery formats and meet deadlines.
- Maintain consistent quality across all edits.

Skills Required

- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong color grading ability
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and pacing
- Ability to edit in multiple styles (cinematic, traditional, up-to-date, fun, emotional)
- Basic understanding of motion, transitions, and sound
- Understanding of camera formats, frame rates, and export settings
- Strong attention to detail and consistency

Preferred Skills

- Motion graphics or After Effects knowledge
- Experience with drone and 360° camera footage
- Understanding of Instagram and social media formats
- Thumbnail creation sense
