Job Summary

The Medical Counsellor serves as the first point of contact for clients seeking aesthetic and cosmetic treatments across all CARA Clinic service lines, including hair transplantation, hair loss therapies, skin rejuvenation, laser procedures, and non-surgical cosmetic enhancements. This role is critical in providing professional consultation, explaining procedures in detail, building trust, and guiding clients toward informed decisions.

The counsellor is accountable for converting leads into customers, maximizing revenue through upselling and cross-selling, ensuring compliance with medical protocols, supporting marketing initiatives, and delivering an exceptional client experience from first contact through the entire treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Education

● Welcome clients warmly and build rapport to create a comfortable consultation setting.

● Conduct detailed needs analysis and gather relevant medical, aesthetic, and lifestyle history.

● Explain treatment options for all CARA services, including benefits, timelines, pricing, risks, and expected results.

● Assist in designing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with doctors and therapists.

● Demonstrate relevant tools and equipment when appropriate to enhance client understanding.

● Provide thorough pre-treatment and post-care guidance, including follow-up instructions.

2. Sales & Conversion

● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for services, products, and packages.

● Convert consultations into confirmed bookings through tailored recommendations and solution-based selling.

● Offer premium and long-term treatment plans where suitable.

● Overcome objections with empathy and accurate, evidence-based information.

● Track conversion rates, upselling, cross-selling success, and package renewals in CRM.





● Follow up on pending payments and encourage timely closure of transactions.

3. Follow-Up & Relationship Management

● Maintain consistent follow-ups with undecided prospects until closure.

● Monitor treatment progress, ensuring client satisfaction and timely feedback.

● Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

● Handle queries, complaints, and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.

4. Coordination with Medical, Marketing & Support Teams

● Work closely with doctors, therapists, reception, and billing to ensure smooth operations.

● Schedule treatments and coordinate with the medical team for any plan adjustments.

● Partner with marketing to provide client success stories, treatment insights, and before/after documentation.

● Assist in planning and attending promotional events, webinars, influencer sessions, and open-house activities.

5. Operational Support

● Manage appointment scheduling and re-scheduling to optimize clinic efficiency.

● Coordinate travel and accommodation guidance for outstation and international patients.

● Monitor inventory of brochures, consent forms, post-care products, and consumables; request replenishment as needed.

● Support reception during peak hours for check-ins and payment processing.

6. Compliance, Ethics & Quality Control

● Ensure all patient records, consent forms, and medical history files are complete and accurate.

● Adhere to confidentiality protocols and ethical sales practices.

● Conduct periodic hygiene and readiness checks of consultation rooms.





● Ensure all patient photography/video documentation follows clinic guidelines and consent protocols.

7. Continuous Learning & Training

● Attend internal and external workshops to stay updated on the latest treatment trends, equipment, and counselling techniques.

● Participate in product and service training sessions conducted by vendors or medical experts.

● Share knowledge with new team members and mentor junior counsellors where required.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Feedback Loop

● Work with content teams to develop educational and promotional material.

● Provide patient feedback to management for service improvement.

● Coordinate with creative teams for case study development and digital campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

● Number of consultations conducted daily/weekly

● Consultation-to-sale conversion rate

● Monthly revenue generated through counselling

● Repeat client ratio and referral count

● Upselling/cross-selling success rate

● Client satisfaction ratings and reviews

● CRM accuracy and timely follow-ups

● Compliance score for documentation and consent

Required Skills & Attributes

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English, Hindi, and regional languages preferred)

● In-depth knowledge of aesthetic and cosmetic treatments (training will be provided)

● Consultative selling skills with focus on ethics and client trust

● High standards of personal grooming and professional appearance

● Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-client-volume environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
