Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical classes in tailoring and garment construction.
- Train students in hand stitching, machine stitching, cutting, measuring, pattern making, and garment finishing.
- Demonstrate the secure operation and maintenance of sewing machines and tailoring tools.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical assignments.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance records, progress reports, and assessment documentation.
- Ensure the training area is clean, organized, and equipped with the required materials.
- Guide students on fabric selection, garment measurements, alterations, and finishing techniques.
- Encourage creativity, quality workmanship, and adherence to industry standards.
- Organize practical demonstrations,



exhibitions, and skill development activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Certificate, Diploma, or ITI in Tailoring, Dress Making, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching or industry experience in tailoring and garment production is preferred.

Experience

- 1–5 years of experience as a Tailoring Teacher, Tailor, Fashion Instructor, or Garment Production Professional.
- Freshers with strong technical skills and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
