Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Fire & Safety Officer to ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and implement effective fire prevention and emergency response measures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial safety, fire protection systems, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Fire Safety Management

- Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect and maintain fire-fighting equipment, hydrant systems, fire alarms, and emergency exits.
- Ensure all fire protection systems are operational and regularly maintained.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Train employees on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements across the workplace.
- Issue, review, and monitor work permits for hazardous jobs, including Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Work, and Excavation.
- Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety induction programs for new employees and contractors.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety awareness campaigns, and refresher training sessions.




- Educate employees on emergency response procedures and workplace safety practices.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, fire safety regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory records, registers, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records of safety inspections, fire drills, incidents, audits, and training programs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
- Monitor safety performance indicators and recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements:

- Graduate or Diploma in Fire & Safety.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Fire & Safety Officer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response, risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, and statutory compliance.
- Positive communication, reporting, and training skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
