Overview:

Design Engineer - Capability to develop 3D Models of compressor components, assembly models and convert to 2D drawings.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing General arrangement drawing. Ability to read P&ID; diagrams.
- Pipe routing design for lube oil, seal gas, compressor interstage piping design
- Detailing of structural & fabrication component drawings.
- Conduit, wiring & cable tray routing design

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Essential skills:

- Experience in Engineered to order projects, experience of working on equipment design like skid packaging & integration of large centrifugal compressors (Compressors + Oil systems + heat exchangers + Motors + Piping + Skid + Cables / conduits) etc.
- Target industry : Air Separation, Oil & Gas, EPCs & related experience is preferrable.
- Sound knowledge of Casting & Machining processes.
- Knowledge of API standards like 614, 617 etc.
- Sound knowledge of GD& T and latest drawing standards and best practices.

Experience:

Min 3-5 Years of hands on experience of working on UG-NX, Team Centre & SAP.
