Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement and improve QSHEEn management systems, processes and procedures to support Safety & fire services operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001-PDCA cycle.

- Conduct IMS Internal audit and maintain the safety department Soft & hard documents Periodically.

- Conducts regular safety Inspection/audits (Safety tour) of departments to ensure compliance with required workplace safety standards, regulations. Log all the observation in to the MySetu EHS portal and track for compliance.

- Manage the Fire services crew and coordinate the firefighting requirements of the plant.

- Maintain the firefighting & emergency equipments like, Fire tender, Ambulance, Hydrant systems, and Portable fire extinguishers availability in the plant by effective PM program.

- Coordinate Mock drill activities in the plant including local & plant evacuation as per the annual drills plan prepare the detailed report & communicate with all stake holders.

- Prepares monthly/quarterly Safety MIS, Corporate Safety MIS,



and Business steering reports; maintains proper documentation to conform to JSW requirements

- Conduct/coordinate EHS training periodically as per the T&C; subcommittee Annual Training Plan.

- Coordinate for commercial activities like, PR to PO process in SAP management, inventory and stores management of safety department, item Code creation, Materials Quality Inspection, Material Follow-up with Vendors, etc.

- Coordinate with all the sub committees & Divisional implementation committees for the monthly meetings as per the DuPont structure

- Comply the FA 1948 /MFR 1963 & other EHS Legislative requirement reviews, updates, and compliance.

- Develops, implements, and manages the Injury/Illness Prevention Program using MySetu EHS portal and directs and coordinates the participation of departments within that program;

- Conduct Safety Promotional activities like month Competitions/ Safety Day/Fire services/CDPD Day celebrations to motivate the employees.
