- M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent
- Diploma / PG Diploma in Radiological Safety (Preferred)
- - Registered with AERB as Radiological Safety Officer (RSO)
- Robust knowledge of Radiation Safety Regulations and Protocols
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as RSO in a Radiation Oncology department
- Hands-on experience with VARIAN/ECLIPSE treatment planning systems is MANDATORY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure radiation safety of patients, staff, and public as per AERB regulations
- Oversee quality assurance and radiation safety programs
- Conduct regular equipment checks, safety audits and documentation
- Maintain radiation safety records and compliance reports
- Provide training and awareness to staff on radiation safety
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance
