Role & responsibilities

- Plan and manage raw material requirements based on production schedules, customer demand, and inventory targets.

- Execute MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure timely availability of raw materials while minimizing inventory costs.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, resolve shortages, and monitor supplier performance.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock, safety stock, slow-moving, and excess materials.

- Analyze material shortages and take proactive actions to avoid production line stoppages.

- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow across the supply chain.

- Track and improve key supply chain KPIs such as inventory turns, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory accuracy, and supplier delivery performance.





- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports on raw material consumption, inventory status, shortages, and purchase requirements.

- Support new product launches, engineering changes, and phase-in/phase-out activities by ensuring material readiness and inventory optimization.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency

Preferred candidate profile

- Preferred Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with 811 years of experience in raw material planning within a manufacturing setting.
