Retail Cashier – Job ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout the billing process. Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions. Generate bills, issue receipts, and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.

Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure the billing counter is clean, organized, and well-stocked with required materials.

Verify product prices, discounts, offers, and promotional schemes before billing. Assist customers with product inquiries and coordinate with the sales team when required. Promote loyalty programs, gift vouchers, memberships, and ongoing promotional offers.

Report any cash shortages, excess cash, billing errors, or system issues to the Store Manager
