Job Title- Applications are invited for the Post of Research Assistant (RA) (01 Post) in the VSI funded research project entitled Production of xylitol from bagasse at the Department of Alcohol Technology & Biofuels, Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune, 412307. Applications along with photocopies of original certificates and CV/Resume should be submitted through by email on or before 31st July 2026.

Job Profile- The candidate will be involved in the fermentation process for the production of xylitol and its purification. He / She will be involved in the preparation of scientific reports, research papers, progress reports and presentations.

Terms & Conditions- This Post is purely on contractual basis for the period up to 31st March 2027. No TA or DA will be given to the candidates appear for interview by the Institute. Candidates should bring original mark sheet/ certificates,



testimonials and experience certificate along with certified copies at the time of interview The decision of the selection committee of the Institute will be final.
