Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI (Dashboards & Paginated Reports), SQL Server, T-SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL performance tuning. This role involves building scalable reporting solutions, developing data models, and delivering actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Create and optimize Power BI Paginated Reports for operational and enterprise reporting.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions using T-SQL.
- Design and maintain semantic data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
- Build reporting solutions using data stored in SQL Server, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning to improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support enterprise data warehouse initiatives and reporting architecture improvements.
- Automate recurring reports and dashboard refresh processes.
- Monitor report performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Document reporting solutions, data models, and technical specifications.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- 5–8 years of experience in Reporting, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Experience building enterprise dashboards and paginated reports.
- Expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data warehouse architectures.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure data services and enterprise BI architectures.
- Experience implementing row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
