Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Gurugram. The Reporter will research, investigate, and develop news stories related to technology, AI, data science, and industry trends relevant to Samatrix’s work.

Daily responsibilities include identifying story ideas, conducting interviews with internal experts and external stakeholders, verifying facts, and producing explicit, accurate written content for digital and print channels. The role also involves collaborating with the communications and marketing teams to create multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and social media posts,



while ensuring consistent messaging and adherence to editorial standards. The Reporter is expected to meet deadlines, maintain high ethical standards, and stay current on emerging technologies and market developments.

Qualifications

- Strong reporting skills, including research, interviewing, and fact-checking, with the ability to develop compelling story angles.
- Excellent writing and news writing skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and audience engagement.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to work with subject matter experts and present complex topics in accessible language.
- Experience with multimedia content creation, such as basic video production, audio, or visual storytelling for digital platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, editorial judgment, and adherence to journalistic ethics and standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technology, AI, and data science topics, and experience in a business or tech reporting environment is an advantage.
