About The Role The primary purpose of this position is to establish standardized methodologies for rebates computation across multiple line cards, requiring an in-depth understanding of rebate incentive program agreements. The role involves providing analytical support and preparing rebate accrual proposals to ensure accurate financial reporting. A critical aspect of this position is validating and reconciling vendor rebate accruals against actual rebate receipts, aiming to minimize rebate leakages and maximize profitability.

This enables the business to concentrate on sales growth and exploring current opportunities. The role also entails managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to influence accrual decisions, ensure the accuracy of rebate calculations, and facilitate timely and correct information flow for rebate reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insights within the rebate management function, ultimately supporting the company's financial health and operational excellence.

Qualifications Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data entry, mathematical calculations, and financial modeling are essential. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create and deliver formal presentations.

Effective interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with all management levels and external vendors. Leadership qualities,



organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure are highly valued. Familiarity with computer systems and applications at an intermediate level, along with a quick learning ability for new technologies, is required.

Responsibilities Supplier Rebates Computation - Develop and implement a robust and sustainable rebate calculation methodology, engaging regularly with country finance teams and Business Unit Sales Directors to ensure accuracy and consistency in rebate reporting, accounting for approximately 25% of responsibilities.

Reconcile Vendor Rebates Accruals - Validate and reconcile rebate accruals against actual receipts, identify discrepancies and leakages, and implement corrective actions to maximize rebates and drive organizational profitability, accounting for about 10% of duties.

Rebates Dashboard Reports and Performance Analysis - Prepare and analyze detailed rebate performance reports, identifying trends and insights on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support strategic decision-making, representing roughly 10% of responsibilities.

Operational Review and Improvement - Review current rebate processes, propose enhancements, and lead initiatives to adopt best practices. Collaborate with teams to identify and implement operational improvements, contributing approximately 10% of the role.

Team Guidance and Development - Mentor junior analysts, providing training, tools, and support to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery, comprising about 10% of duties.

Vendor Engagement - Maintain proactive communication with vendors to stay updated on rebate program changes, manage rebate agreements, and ensure accurate documentation, accounting for 5% of responsibilities.





Project Management - Lead special rebate projects and address ad hoc requests from sales or management, facilitating meetings, brainstorming, and decision-making processes to ensure timely and effective execution, representing 5% of the role.

Rebate Invoicing and Cash Flow Management - Quarterly invoicing to vendors, collection of rebate amounts due, and recording income to support strong cash flow, accounting for 5% of responsibilities.

Master Data Maintenance - Monitor and update rebate master data, build exclusion lists based on historical and current payment data, and ensure data accuracy to minimize information gaps, constituting 5% of duties.

Financial Reporting and Closing - Oversee general accounting transactions, ledger postings, and reporting activities related to rebates and other financial matters, comprising approximately 5% of responsibilities.

Operational Support - Provide backup support for daily rebate operations, resolve complex client and internal issues, and ensure smooth workflow, representing about 10% of the role.
