Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the Research & Development function, driving product innovation, new product development (NPD), design optimization, and engineering excellence for consumer durable products manufactured by EPACK.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the R&D; team and manage end-to-end product development projects

- Drive New Product Development (NPD) from concept to commercialization

- Develop innovative products aligned with market trends and customer requirements

- Oversee product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and certification

- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams

- Optimize product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality norms

- Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and product lifecycle activities

- Conduct technology benchmarking and competitor analysis

- Mentor and develop engineering and R&D; teams

Skills Required:

- Strong expertise in product development and engineering design

- Knowledge of consumer electronics and home appliance technologies





- Experience in Recent Product Development (NPD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

- Leadership, project management, and cross-functional coordination

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and engineering tools

Qualification & Experience:

- BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline

- 12–18 years of experience in R&D; and product development within consumer electronics or home appliance manufacturing

- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role

Preferred Experience:

- Experience with air conditioners, washing machines, air coolers, small home appliances, or other consumer durable products

- Prior experience in organizations such as EPACK, Dixon, Voltas, Blue Star, Haier, LG, Samsung, Godrej, Whirlpool, Panasonic, or similar OEM/ODM manufacturing companies will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
