R&D; Analyst - Specification Management, Raw Materials (Third Party Payroll Position)

Role & responsibilities

- Support PLM data preparation tasks, including data migration, cleansing, validation, and standardisation.
- Organise and format BPL-Data team extracts into clear, user-friendly outputs that supports Specification Managers in preparing RM specification
- Monitor data quality metrics, identify deviations, and communicate required corrections to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with RM Specification Managers to understand data needs, priorities and timelines.
- Support alignment and harmonization efforts across sites including helping identify duplicates and ensuring consistency of data fields.
- Support in preparation of data packs and document updates required for raw material specifications or compliance needs.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports (e.g., PowerBI) that highlights list of raw materials for the focus sites and track data quality, progress or KPIs.
- Escalate documentation or data-related issues and support resolution through timely communication with the Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

- A degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (ideally Chemistry)
- Robust data handling and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience or strong aptitude in database management, reporting tools or analytics (e.g., Power BI, SQL, excel).
- System-savvy: good knowledge of computerised systems, database management, reporting applications (e.g.



PowerBI) and MS Office with particular proficiency with generating excel based reports via queries of complex and varied data sets
- Confident presentation skills to multiple audience types (e.g. technical peers & executive summaries) inclusive of preparation of data reports
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documents
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage routine tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to operate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of corporate codes of conduct.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Understanding of the product lifecycle and of regulatory environment of the FMCG sector.

Essential Fit Criteria

- Experience working with Raw Materials including familiarity with key supplier documents, raw material function and systems / databases
- Demonstrated data-savvy mindset, with ability to work confidently with datasets, identify inconsistencies and support data preparation or quality improvement activities
- Experience of supporting change within changing landscape to bring efficiency and improvements for the team and wider business.
